I’m a qualified and fully licensed Five Element and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) Acupuncturist. I studied for three and a half years at the prestigious College of Integrated Chinese Medicine in Reading gaining a BSc.Honours Degree in Acupuncture. I have a special interest in women’s health and hold a diploma in Gynaecology, Fertility & Obstetrics Acupuncture.
What is Acupuncture?
Acupuncture is based on ancient principles dating back thousands of years and looks at the whole person. I start by gathering a full case history, take your pulse and look at your tongue. This helps me to identify patterns in your body that have become weak, stagnated or blocked and therefore causing pain or disease.
I will then create an individual treatment plan designed to bring you back into balance and restore your wellbeing using a carefully selected choice from over 360 acupuncture points on the body.
Fine, sterile, single use needles are inserted into these points to move the Qi (energy) helping you to feel ‘you’ again – restoring your natural energy. You may also notice that other niggling symptoms will also resolve as your main complaint starts to improve.
Acupuncture can alleviate symptoms of the following conditions:
- Acne – Allergic Rhinitus – Anxiety – Angina and Heart Disease – Asthma
- Back Pain – Bell’s Palsy
- Cold & Flu – Chronic Fatigue Syndrome – Chronic pain
- Dementia – Depression – Diabetes Type II & Gestational – Dizziness & Vertigo
- Eczema & Psoriasis – Endometriosis
- Erectile disfunction & premature ejaculation
- Facial pain – Fibromyalgia – Frozen Shoulder
- Gout
- Headaches – Hypertension
- Infertility – Male and Female
- Irritable Bowel Syndrome – Insomnia
- Migraine – Menopausal symptoms
- Musculoskeletal pain
- Nausea & Vomiting -Neck Pain
- Painful periods (Dysmenorrhea) -Pregnancy & Labour
- Sciatica – Sinusitis – Stroke –
- Stress – Substance dependency

Acupuncture is a powerful tool in supporting women through natural life transitions. As women, our bodies go through significant changes during puberty, conception or IVF, pregnancy, the menopause and everything in between. Acupuncture can help reset your menstrual cycle, ease menopausal symptoms, and support women experiencing debilitating symptoms of PCOS and Endometriosis.
My love of continuous learning led me to seek professional development and post graduate studies in:
- Teenage Anxiety and Depression
- Auricular Acupuncture – The NADA Protocol
- Facial Enhancement Acupuncture
I am First Aid trained and a member of the British Acupuncture Council (BAcC).
